Ster-Kinekor Theatres is offering a unique opportunity for 20 South African individuals interested in the movie theatre industry to join the Ster-Kinekor Theatres Learnership 2024 program. This 12-month structured training program allows unemployed youths to gain an accredited qualification through a blend of theoretical and practical learning sessions. Participants will start with classroom-based learning and then transition to hands-on experience in a workplace setting, applying their acquired knowledge in real-world situations within the movie theatre industry.

Responsibilities

• Engage actively in structured classroom training sessions
• Apply theoretical knowledge in practical workplace sessions
• Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities as part of the learnership program
• Maintain a proactive and committed approach to learning and personal development

Qualifications

• Must have worked at Ster-Kinekor for at least 12 months
• Reside within the Gauteng area
• Aged between 18 and 34
• Proficient in understanding, reading, and writing in English
• Possess a completed Matric Senior Certificate with a pass in Literacy (English) and either Mathematical Literacy or Mathematics
• Willing to commit to a 3-4 month program
• Interest in joining an IT program
• Computer literacy
• Demonstrate qualities such as commitment, determination, and discipline to balance both the program and work
